What’s Your Favorite U.S. National Park?
Hey, it’s been a when, hasn’t it? I really do not imagine I’ve penned a site post in a calendar year or so. I hope you are all executing properly in these mad periods. As usually, thanks for examining.
I have a query: What’s your most loved U.S. National Park?
In excess of the previous two decades, I have fallen in enjoy with them.
In advance of the pandemic, I had only frequented a handful of them, primarily by incident. But once the pandemic hit, and it was safe enough to road-journey, I drove all around the country visiting them.
Now I’ve viewed 15 out of 63. And someday, I’d like to see them all.
1st, there was Redwood Nationwide Park, with its towering trees and black-sand beaches…
Then Indiana Dunes, with its sprawling sights of nuclear reactors…
Then Utah, dwelling to some of the greatest national parks in the nation: I frequented Capitol Reef, Bryce Canyon, and Zion.
Following Utah, I frequented Mammoth Cave (Kentucky) and Warm Springs (Arkansas), on the way to Austin, which is where I stay now.
Then there was Large Bend, Texas. The evening sky is unbelievable there! You can see so many stars.
Adopted by Petrified Forest in New Mexico…
And most a short while ago, Glacier (Montana) and Grand Teton (Wyoming). Glacier National Park reminded me of Switzerland with its alpine valleys, purple wildflowers, and jagged mountains. I even saw mountain goats.
I come to feel so lucky that I’ve gotten to see so significantly of our stunning country in the past few decades.
When I was youthful, I centered only on international journey (this site is not known as Ashley Overseas for nothin’). But around the earlier two several years, I’m pleased to report that I have attained a newfound appreciation for my have yard.
It turns out you really do not have to fly halfway all around the environment to go on an experience.
As for my preferred? It’s a two-way tie amongst Redwood and Significant Bend.
